Hello world. I'm Artemis Tack, a nonbinary person who loves all things tech. Pronouns she/they. I'm currently taking a gap year and then this year, in the fall of 2023, will be attending Iowa State University to study cybersecurity.

Current tech endeavors

• Home server

  • Dell PowerEdge r710

    • 900 GB hdds running in RAID 5

    • 16 GB memory

    • Dual Intel Xeon

    • Idle at ~160 watts

      • As long as it's my parents paying the bill *shrug*

  • OS Rhel

    • Because I'm a bit of a red hat fangirl and hey, something something industry experience

  • Running a Minecraft Java server for me and my sister

  • Using it to run code

    • SSH into it from VS Code as a remote server

    • It's over 10 years old and is still faster than my crappy Acer laptop 😭

• Running Fedora on my laptop

  • I'm not paid to say I like Red Hat, I'm just a fan

  • Linux > MacOS > Windows

  • I just took a DNA test, turns out I'm 100% that gnomie

• Learning Python

  • I thought it would be a good idea to learn a language before college.

  • And I love snakes 🐍🐍🐍
